health notes & procedures

Health Notes

  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.

Sanitation Procedures

Physical distancing is impossible while cutting hair, but Barbers are generally well-versed in sanitation procedures to keep everyone safe. This starts with our training and is central to how we operate. Below are just a few steps we are always taking to ensure public safety.

  • Use of Neck Strips. The purpose of neck strips are so that the haircloth never makes contact with the skin.
  • Sterilizer UV lights. All of our tools are housed in ultraviolet light boxes before, during and after use.
  • Barbicide. This is a professional grade disinfectant and anti fugal, combs and frequent use items are sanitized using this method in between services.
  • Halt. This is a hospital grade disinfectant that is used on stations, chairs, door knobs, counters and other touch surfaces.
  • Reduced waiting room size, as well as check in and waiting in vehicles.
  • Restrooms are closed to the public at this time.

We thank you in advance and appreciate your support during this difficult time.
